What is the typical turnaround time?

Standard production turnaround time is 2-4 business days, depending on the product and quantity. Some items, such as business and appointment cards, can be printed same-day or next-day. Ground shipping usually takes 1-3 days. Rush service is available.

Can you handle Pantone colors?

Yes! We can accommodate Pantone colors and they offer a distinctive flair. It’s good to know that items with PMS spot color will generally take longer and cost more than traditional 4-color process jobs, so if you are looking to save on your print costs, converting your PMS color to process color is recommended.

I’m a manager. Can I approve purchases?

You sure can! Our online portal can be configured to hold submitted orders pending manager authorization. This is useful for monitoring cash flow and for giving everything a second set of eyes before printing.

What if my business isn’t medical or dental?

Well, you’re missing out on all of the fun! But we know what you mean. Non-medical business use of Best Practice Printing is considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on industry and print volume. Send us an email to introduce yourself!

Can independent practices join?

Yes! From a small solo practice to a large health system, we are set up to help you succeed. Every Best Practice Printing client gets access to the same volume pricing and top-notch service. Small practices love our ability to help create demand with direct mail.

How much does it cost?

There is no monthly fee to maintain an account with Best Practice Printing. Depending on the size and complexity of your practice and/or group, there may be a modest set-up fee for creating and loading templates. Product pricing is dependent on your selected paper stock and color.

Do you offer digital or offset printing?

We offer both methods of printing. For quantities of 250 pieces or less, we may recommend using the digital press as it saves time and money. Otherwise, we prefer to print offset whenever possible.

Can I add other items to my online catalog?

Yes. If you have in-house inventory of things such as pens or other promotional items for your practices, we can add those products to your catalog. You’ll receive an email when the products are ordered and you will be responsible for fulfillment and arranging payment.

Can I still use my favorite printer?

If you like the access and organization of Best Practice Printing but are fiercely loyal to your local printer, we can arrange to furnish files to the printer of your choice. In such cases, we offer our services as a monthly subscription and you are billed by your printer.

How do I set up an account?

Once we have you set up in our system, everything about Best Practice Printing can be self-service. To create an account, please contact us so we can review your printing needs, paper stocks, etc. and we will provide product pricing and create your account and online catalog.

How does payment work?

Health systems and large practice groups can establish terms with us for monthly billing. Medium-size practice groups can be billed to a card on account and small practices can use any major credit card.

Do you offer non-profit discounts?

The majority of our health care clients are non-profit and it’s one of the reasons we started Best Practice Printing. We aim to offer the lowest prices to all of our members, so there is no difference in pricing for non-profit or for-profit practices.
